Introduzione a Qt Quick

Hi,

This post gives some information about the book I started writing.

Data logger

My data logger is not yet ready, but something is now working. At the moment I'm using a DS1621 chip on I2C bus connected to my Mini 6410 (but I also made some test with an Arduino UNO board). Here I show a first screenshot of the GUI (PC based). The data logger acquires the temperature and sends to the PC tha data.

A FriendlyARM technical course in Italian?

During the 2010, I saw an increasing request of information about FriendlyARM board and Qt. I'm seriously thinking to prepare a technical course (in Italian language) to explain how to install the OS on the board, how to configure Qt and develop applications, how to connect the board to several peripherals and so on.

Manunet | Call 2011

Hi all, I'm planning to partecipate to Manunet 2011 Call. My idea is to design a product and a service around Qt, ARM boards, manufacturing industry and SCADA. I'm looking for partners across EU. If you are interested in this call, leave me a message.

Thanks!

Ubuntu 11.10 and Qt development framework

Canonical founder Mark Shuttleworth revealed that Nokia's Qt toolkit will be included as a standard component in future versions of Ubuntu.

Images Slide Show: a first demo screencast

Hi all,

my work on "Images", the slide show multiplatform open source program goes on. I put a demo screencast on my YouTube channel to show you some interesting effects (thanks to Qt...). At the moment I'm not ready to release the source code of version 0.2 because there are too many bugs, but as soon as I fix them I'll upload on Qt Apps and sourceforge.

I'm starting a new open source project: Images

Yes, I'm starting a new open source project and I think I will join the Qt Ambassador program. At the moment I'm calling the application Images and I'm at release 0.1 (just at the beginning), but I have to startup everything.

Mini 6410 Weather Station (Qt 4.7.1)

Using mi FriendlyARM Mini 6410 and the source code from Qt Labs weatherinfo example I was able to connect to iGoogle API in order to display weather information and forecast about my town. For this example I used the new Qt 4.7.1 but I think the Qt 4.6.1 distibution delivered wth the board can work fine as well.
